I’m Laura, the founder of Big Wild Thought. I'm a passionate business owner, a mum to a beautiful 3-year-old, and a lover of all things creative. I started Big Wild Thought back in 2018, when I was just 21 years old, as a way to combine my love for animals with my desire to create unique and thoughtful gifts. Each item we make is a reflection of my journey as a small business owner, and I put my heart into every design. 💕
Being a founder means embracing the ups and downs, from exciting milestones to moments of reflection and growth. Through it all, I’ve learned that every big (and wild) thought begins with a dream. I hope that Big Wild Thought can spark a little joy and inspiration in your life, just like it has in mine. 💭
The pause that made us come back!
Like many small businesses, Big Wild Thought faced its own set of challenges, especially during the tough times of the past few years. We took a short break to regroup, recharge, and rethink how we wanted to continue our journey. That time away gave us the chance to reflect on the heart of our brand and what really matters to our customers: wildlife conservation and cute animal clothes are a bonus. 🌟
During this pause, I focused on the balance between running a business and family life, all while reimagining what Big Wild Thought could be moving forward. We’re back, and stronger than ever, with exciting new designs and fresh energy. I’m beyond excited to continue this journey and bring even more of the magic back to life. ✨
